The MBIA Environmental Committee serves as a critical voice on environmental and regulatory issues impacting Maryland’s building industry. This committee brings together industry professionals to address challenges, share expertise, and advocate for balanced policies that support both responsible development and environmental stewardship.
What We Do
The Environmental Committee focuses on:
- Regulatory Insight – Monitoring and analyzing environmental regulations affecting land development and homebuilding
- Advocacy Support – Providing guidance and feedback on legislation and policy impacting the industry
- Education – Sharing best practices, resources, and updates on environmental compliance and sustainability
