The Events Committee helps shape and support many of MBIA’s premier networking, educational, and industry events throughout the year.

Comprised of engaged members from across Maryland’s building industry, the committee works collaboratively with MBIA staff to develop creative event ideas, strengthen member engagement, enhance attendee experiences, and support sponsorship opportunities that bring value to members and partners alike.

The Events Committee plays an important role in:

• Planning and supporting MBIA signature events
• Generating new and creative event concepts
• Enhancing networking and member engagement opportunities
• Assisting with event promotion and attendance growth
• Supporting sponsor engagement and event partnerships
• Providing feedback to improve the overall event experience

From Builder Mart and Builder Connections to council programs, networking events, educational sessions, and special industry gatherings, the Events Committee helps ensure MBIA events remain impactful, relevant, and valuable for members across the state.

Participation in the Events Committee is a great opportunity to build industry relationships, contribute new ideas, increase visibility within the association, and help create meaningful experiences that strengthen Maryland’s building industry community.
