Outstanding Building Product Entry Information
The MAX Outstanding Product Awards recognize the construction, workmanship, and layout of the home.
Criteria: The categories are based on total home price, reflecting all options included in the actual home to be judged, plus available incentives as of December 31, 2024, or close out of community. Price is not a criterion for “clubhouse” entries. The price categories may be adjusted by the Award of Excellence committee based on the actual entries submitted. Entries may not be winners from the prior year, defined as winning for the same house in the same community. Builders may enter a previous winner of the same model, if it is located in a different community.
Judging: Judges are assigned to ensure no conflict of interest exists with participating companies. Many factors are taken into consideration, including interior and exterior design features, floor plan design (practicality, livability, and/or originality) and workmanship relative to price and category. Judging is done online.
Deadline: March 9, 2026
Event: April 16, 2026 5 - 8:30PM REGISTER
Price: $430 per entry / $400 per entry for 4+ entries

- 55 & Better – Detached
- 55 & Better – Attached
- Multi-Family/Condominium (includes 2 over 2’s)
- Custom Home (excludes land cost)
- Customized Home (Production Home with significant modifications or changes, includes land cost)
- Outstanding Clubhouse Provide a marketing statement of 200 words or less. Entry will be judged on exterior and interior design and layout, flow, use of space, and perceived value
