Please join us every other last Tuesday of the month for our new Workforce Development Council!! We will be alternating with the Codes Committee Meeting every other month. All meetings will be held the last Tuesday of every month from 10-11am. REGISTER TODAY!!
The committees mission/goals for each council will be as follows through 2025 & 2026:
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT:
-Promote Careers in the Construction Trades and promote policies that encourage the Construction Trade pathway
-Showing membership how to secure and build a skilled workforce for the next generation of tradespeople via programs, education, apprenticeship programs, our job board and more
-How to take advantage of the direct referral network of MBIA and its members putting your company directly in front of motivated students, career-changers and tradesmen
-Stay ahead of workforce trends by providing access to specialized training resources and workshops for your existing workforce on emerging topics
-Shaping the Industry's image by helping to promote the career growth and job stability that a career in construcion, building, remodeling for young people who want to join the industry
Thank you for participating in MBIA meetings and events! This is just a reminder that we request people use their cameras when possible. When we aren't able to meet in person, this is a nice, simple way members can connect with other members, which is our organization's goal. Of course, we understand there are some circumstances / instances where cameras should be off.
